Country Court Care Home

Terms of Residency

Inside the homeFollowing mutual agreement the applicant may take up residence. Should either party at a later stage wish to terminate the agreement, then 28 days notice will need to be given. The first 6 weeks of residence should be looked upon as a trial period. During this time the resident should not give up his/her own home or tenancy until he/she is sure that he/she wishes to stay and that a long term residency in the home is available. Should a resident become severely dependent either by physical or psychological ill-health, at the discretion of the GP and if it is the resident's own wish, every effort will be made to enable him/her to remain in the Home. If, in the opinion of the GP, nursing care would be more appropriate, every assistance will be given to effect a transfer to a registered nursing home.

Insurance

The Home is covered by a Comprehensive Insurance Policy which includes personal effects up to the value of £50 per resident. A safe is available for small items of value.
