Facilities

The following is a list of facilities and services that Country Court Care Home has to offer:

Bedrooms

All rooms are well lit and ventilated, tastefully decorated and furnished with; single divan, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, vanity basin with constant hot water, TV point, 'staff call' alarm above beds, and W.C's, electric sockets at waist height and central heating.

Own furniture

Residents are welcome to bring small agreed items for their own rooms.

Laundry Service

The laundry staff cater for all the residents' ordinary laundry requirements.

Entertainment

Social functions arranged regularly - advertised in the main foyer

Newspapers

Available daily including a weekly 'Big print' newspaper

We have our own regular Newsletter to which residents, their families and staff members are encouraged to contribute if they wish.

Library

A selection of books are available on request

Chaplaincy

Visits can be arranged on request. A regular non-denominational service is held within the Home

Pay-phone available, housed in a separate room for privacy

Car parking facilities within the grounds

The following chargeable services are available:

Hairdresser

In house hairdressing offered weekly or visits to outside hairdressers can be arranged

Chiropody

Private chiropody can be arranged on request.

Physiotherapy

Visits will be arranged on request via GP referral

Dentist & Optician

Appointments arranged as necessary or in-house visits available if required

Charges

Any extra charges incurred will be placed on account and should be cleared at the end of each calendar month.

Prices

The current weekly room fee is £348.50 - £391.50 (as at April 08). Day Care: £20 per session (transport costs not included). Funding may be available subject to individual circumstances. We do not currently charge a top-up fee.
